With his father being a strong Auror and his aunt Headmistress of Durmstrang, he feels the need to assume as much leadership and responsibility when he grows up, adding more concern and pressure onto himself. When a situation calls for it though, Edgar is an excellent leader with quick wits much like his father. He is above intelligence than most of his classmates and has the need to learn as much as he can.
