Personality (3 sentence minimum): Duke has always been a shy quiet person before his abduction. Always being the person in the back that always gets unnoticed by everyone else. He was always a brainy kid, being more smart than he came off as. When he finally escaped from the Death Eaters he was very shaken and rattled. It took him awhile to open up to people. He has only opened up to one person since then and comes off blunt and sometimes harsh. It really takes someone to really know him for them to understand.



Background (3 sentence minimum): Duke was born to Martha and George Goldstein, both muggles and owned their own company. They dealt with Dark Artifacts and came to discover they weren't just muggle artifacts. Some held dark magic. Duke went through Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor. He excelled at Charms, Flying, and Dueling. His parents had a lot to deal with the Death Eaters and they gave his parents a loan claiming that if they did everything correctly they would be able to keep their underground business.

Most of the artifacts went to them but they still gave them enough to get by. Instead they took the loan and blew it, The Death Eaters came in the summer he turned fourteen and said that they owed them something since they lied to them, Duke came out of his room and for the first time meeting them and they pointed at him and said he was their price.

At first his parents denied her saying that was their only son. But They didn't stand a chance. He didn't return to Hogwarts and became a test subject to the Death Eaters. They began injecting him with something that makes him evil or obey for several hours. When he is under the influence he is almost a rag doll to be used by all the evil, vile people. After several years of being a slave he was rescued by Angelus Lucian. He at the time was spying on them and was appalled at Duke's shape at the time. The more and more they spent together the more closer they got.

Angel and Duke seemed to be like brothers always out there to care for one another and love them as such. Since Duke believed he was straight before he was abducted he was having issues understanding the rape and sexual intercourse he had with the men during his slavery. A part of him enjoyed it and that is what made him come to the conclusion that he was bisexual. When time went on Angelus worked him through the drug withdrawals, the confusion, trauma and pain.

He was taught magic as if he would have finished his school years and even got him to a point in his life where he was able to go on with his life. The two of them pushed them self past the brotherhood and started realizing that their relationship was much more than family that it was actual or potential love. As they discovered this he had finally gotten of age and took in a job of professor at Beauxbatons after they moved to France.
