Personality: Karin is a kind and gentle person and loves all beings. He doesn't think that any one being should be discriminated against due to their race. He is a loving individual and will protect those he loves with fierce rage. He hopes to one day settle down and have a loving husband. He is rather adverse to the thought of children.




Background: Karin was born in England to a muggle and a pureblood witch. They loved him dearly but unfortunately had very strong disagreements with each other. His parents fought constantly and never agreed on anything after he was born. It was the year that Karin turned 10 that everything started to deteriorate. Karin's father found out that his mother's sister was a werewolf. Karin's aunt often watched him when his mother and father were busy and didn't have time.

Karin's father was furious that his mother had allowed Karin to be watched by what he labeled a "man eating beast". Karin had never had problems with his aunt and loved her very dearly. It was during this year that Karin's father attempted to murder his aunt while she slept. When Karin's aunt awoke she called for Karin's mother immediately. Together they killed his father and hid the body. Strangely Karin felt nothing for his father. He had despised the way he treated his aunt and thought it was ridiculously unfair. Later that year Karin's mother came down with a terrible disease that had no cure. Karin was devastated, his mother's dying wish was for Karin's aunt raise Karin. Karin's aunt, Freya, agreed to the task readily.  

Karin went to Hogwarts and lived out his day studiously. He was sorted into Ravenclaw House and was very good at his work. He was made a prefect and then Head Boy in seventh year. Freya had been so proud. Karin received his mastery in Care of Magical Creatures and Wizarding Law. Karin had always had a soft spot for magical creatures. After graduation he placed an application in at the ministry. He desprately wanted the job of Department Head of Regulations of Magical Creatures. He believed that he could make a large difference with someone who did not hate magical creatures in the office. He turned out to be more than qualified and was accepted right away.
