Terrance wasn't sure exactly why he was here. When he'd made the comment it had only been half in jest. He could admit that he would find it incredibly amusing for two people that actually possessed magic to visit 'the magic kingdom'. It just struck his funny bone. Admitedly it was also in lieu of saying 'thank you'. Those words just would not form or leave his mouth. At the time he'd made his offer though, he had not been aware his resuer was already attached to someone. So here he was about to ask for her husband's permission to take her out.
While he stood waiting, Terrance tried to think of how he would react had someone come to him. Would he let anyone take out his wife for the day? He was a very jealous person and knew that he would be suspicious. The answer was, even if he trusted his wife or lover, he'd make sure they knew they were his when they came back.
Didn't vampires have a mind reading ability or some such thing? He really needed to pay attention to these things. If they did, it would be a simple matter to just read him to know he had no designs on the woman other than a day in her company. In the platonic way.
"Here goes everything," he muttered crossing the threshold.
