Tristan had the money he would need to buy Fluffy some more pet food. He went when the hours would be close to closing yet not closing. Having left the place he hid in to be safe. He needed to get Fluffy, his unique Puffskein, some more food so she wouldn't be hungry. Holding her in his hands and nuzzling her he hummed along with her to the beautiful song she always sang. It calmed him. He held her in one hand and nervously opened the door. Slipping in and immediately stayed to shadows he avoided others and looked at the ground. He waited for the others to clear out. Staying away as he sang alongside Fluffy. Sitting down waiting for his turn or for himself to be approached. His soulful yet lifeless antisocial eyes looked around now and then. The shop was beginning to thin out and soon became empty but still he waited.

Veronica had received a fair amount of customers due to the fact that school would be starting so soon. The black haired animagus walked from the back of the store, where she had just sent the last customer on their way, to the front. She then noticed a small quiet looking boy was there. She took time to observe him before approaching him. There was something in his eyes; a pain that she did not see often. He seemed quiet and reserved. Veronica decided not to scare him and walked toward the boy smiling softly. "Hello, is there something that I can help you with?" She asked him in a soft and comforting tone. Her warm chocolate brown eyes showing with kindness.

Tristan pet Fluffy and hummed along as she sang out to him. Rubbing his face against her now and then. Lifting his gaze and held up Fluffy. "Fluffy would like to buy her pet food." He said through Fluffy. Holding up a small amount of coins that he knew was just enough to pay for a thing of pet food for the Puffskein. Hiding his face in Fluffy's fur. Nuzzling her back and waited silently. Hoping he wouldn't have to talk much and that she wouldn't talk to him but fluffy. He felt it safer to let Fluffy talk as then people wouldn't get hurt.

Veronica smiled as she seen the boy talking more through his pet than to Veronica herself. When he informed her that the Puffskein would need food she smiled and walked to the back. She went to the section containing the proper food and grabbed a bag and shrank it down for the boy. As she smiled at the boy upon her return she spoke to the Puffskein, "I believe this is what you needed." She held up the now small bag and gave the boy another sweet smile while her eyes shimmered with warmth. She knew the boy had a general fear of people and so he wouldn't talk to her directly.

Tristan looked at Veronica. Waiting as he watched her over Fluffy's fur. Watching as she did something to the bag then hesitantly. He carefully took the food for Fluffy and handed the money onto the counter. "Fluffy thanks you and Tristan put the money on the counter for Fluffy. Fluffy and Tristan will leave now. Thank you for my food." He said for Fluffy as he turned and headed towards the entrance of the store. Looking down at the ground and pet Fluffy.

Veronica felt her heart warm as she heard the child speak. She smiled kindly at him and spoke softly, "Thank you Fluffy and tell Tristan I say thank you as well. Please come back soon!" She had the feeling that this child would be back but she was not sure. Her black hair seemed to blow in an invisible breeze as she watched the child leave.
