He had attempted to bring his family with him but Jadis's mother refused, not wanting to expose her children to such cruelty. Her mother had gone through a few months in solitude after the incident, speaking little words and staying reserved. Even though her mother has moved on since then, Jadis taught herself to be just as independent and at the same time restrain herself from becoming too emotional invested in situations. She resented the Deatheaters greatly due to her father's abandonment and vowed to protect families who had fallen apart from the Deatheaters actions. Being the oldest, Jadis tries to be a good role model for her younger brother and sister by doing her best in school and always putting her family first. After the Second Wizarding War and graduation of Hogwarts, she decided to join the Aurors and became Auror-in-training.

Family Background (3 sentences minimum): Laura grew up being familiar to both the muggle world and wizard world, having a pure blood mother and muggle father, while Henry grew up in a pure blood family and saw no need of muggles until he met her. After the marriage and Jadis's birth, Henry ignored his family's request of him joining sides with the Dark Lord as he attempted to support his new family on his own. Laura had appreciated Henry's efforts but it wasn't until the death/murder of his father when he grew fearful of the Dark Lords power and agreed to the offer, all the while trying to bring his new family with him. Jake and Haliey had grown up not knowing much of their father but found nothing wrong with that. Being twins, they share many interests and a care free personality but do tend to bicker over the little things. While Jake is the oldest, they see each other as equals and usually find no reason to have a 'leader'. They both bond well with Jadis, respecting and looking up to their older sister.
