Personality: Zain is by all means a soft and commanding male, by commanding he is a leader. Being without family he is gruff and more strained than most but self reliant. Zain can be an arrogant jerk most of the time but he is a good man deep down under the hard surface that he hides under. His loyalty is unmatched and never faulting, once an ally with him and or friend he will do anything to help or protect you.

Background: Once Zain was born Ivory put away the dark arts and did lighter ones to better influence his blood. Even so Zain had it in him the dark art but he didn't wish to follow it. However the "joy" did not last long, Veritas was attacked by a wild animal on her way to their hidden home in the woods. That was when his father snapped once again, he began to force his son into dark ways hoping to have him be able to work with him. Zain ran away at the age of seven to his uncle who took him to England with him when he found out his brother treated Zain horribly as well as placed blame on him for Veritas becoming to rest in the ground. His uncle was one of Arcane and trusted rarely.

He raised Zain on his manor's farm that was in England, teaching him to work for things as well as if needed to be a snake and sneak for it. Which came in handy when he wanted to quietly walk around the home at night. When he received his letter his uncle was proud. He once attended there and now Zain would, he hoped he would be a good example for their name. Maybe even correct it to a good name. However before Zain could go anywhere his uncle left a letter on where to go to get to the Alley, his uncle went missing. Zain believes he was murdered by his father for keeping him from the Dark Arts.

As of now, Zain wants to go and will go to prove he is a good wizard. That he will not stoop to the arts of necromancy for fighting. Zain only spent two years within the House of Slytheran before his move.

Some time later a woman named Makota was back in Knockturn Alley to explore some of the shops rarely frequented when she heard a child's scream. She was not a fighter but a maternal instinct flared up inside of her. Makota rushed in that direction in time to save an eleven year old boy from a Death Eater. She learned he had no one and that his crazy father had sent the Death Eater to forcefully bring him back home. The young boy's name was Zain Melnsvilks and he instantly won a place in her heart. After soothing him she took him out of the area. Adopting him into her life as her son upon his agreeance. Even if he hadn't she would have taken care of him. Some time later she took Zain to pick out things to make the empty room into his own personal space.

Months after that a Necromancer Death Eater by the name of Ivory Melnsvilks came to her door demanding her to hand over her new son Zain. There a challeng had been issued by him disturbing her home, and she fought him. It was a long battle when Makota showed her true Romanian line and the fact she WAS in fact the daughter of the most powerful king of vampires. She quite literally annihilated the man so much in fact there was not a trace he'd ever been there. After which she raised Zain as her own son, before then he had not called her "mom" or "mommy" but the fight snapped him to the title for her.

After a few years he moved with her to Romania, still trying to get used to Ronon. Who he has a feeling that the male does enjoy picking on him. Even though he has never seen the man laugh. Yet the ritual that Makota had done made him Immortal (he hasn't figured this out) and upon their new move, he had brought his father's old books to learn Necromany. Zain uses it for... practical reasons.

There are many arts out in the world, most of them dark and forbidden Some are good. The ones that are bad, commonly seen in stories or legends. Necromancy, it is a dark art, forbidden by churches and hated by the Arcane. A Necromancer named Ivory Melnsvilks was once such dark wizard, he was a secretive man living in Germany who did not like the people his home was near. Once in a while the male would raise a corpse to terrorize a household but kept his stay unknown but making sure no one could tell what did the attacking. He met a woman in the wood named Veritas who was a witch, she was one of few to get to know him - later calming him down. Once he came to know the witch better he married the woman to later have a son named Zain.

(Ronon's Side)
When he went to Hogwarts once again he became the Muggle Studdies teacher, not many liked him but he did his job. As he had been on break before school he met his future wife, Makota. She was being chased by drunken wiards. He saved her and since them the two had been forward slowly with their feelings. Soon he began to date her. Durring her time of well... fear? due to a traumatic event he was never seen not too far from her. He bought her a puppy named "Fluffles", he named it, and hoped she would enjoy its company.

No sooner was he married to her, with his own two children on the way. He is a "retired" Muggle Studdies teacher from the House of Slytherin. He is also the king of Romania as well, living with his beloved Makota.

Her family stems from the Romanian Royals and even more noticably from the king of vampires. One of the original vampires Dracula. Her younger half brother Viigo is born of a fling between dracula and a demonic vampire . Viigo's older twin brother is Jasel Vanturi. Viigo currently runs a Romanian Sanctuary for non humans and gypsies. He is the priest there and a kind hearted man.
