Personality (3 sentence minimum): Braxton is a real hard worker and even though he comes from money he has never let it get to his head.  Even though he can be an ass if he needs too, he tries to be nice and helpful.  He can be very outgoing with close friends, and shy sometimes when it comes to his best friend Keira.

Background (3 sentence minimum): Braxton is the last remaining heir of the Vanderbilt fortune, so that means there is a lot riding on what he does with his life.  Braxton’s problem is he is the only magical person in his family and he loves the magical world more than the muggle one.  Braxton had spent his whole life in private schools because his family was busy.  When his was home the summer he turned 11 he received a letter from a school called Hogwarts somewhere in the United Kingdom, or so he thought.

His parents fought with him over the fact that his was magical and wanted to go away.  He told them this was something he wanted to do and that he wanted something to do and he would make them proud.  They finally agreed to let him go and he did not let them down.  He was accepted into Ravenclaw and was one of the tops in the class.

It was strange for him to be a muggle in a magical school, but when he met Keira Eperson, she helped him very much.   He probably would not get down all of the magical stuff if it wasn’t for her.  There was always something about her that always drew him in, but every time he got close to being with her something always stopped him.  He never knew what he was afraid of.  They have always been friends and were always there for each other for everything.
 
While she went off to school he took to drinking once in awhile, trying not to be too involved with the bottle.  He was drunk many times but refuses to admit he has a problem.   After she graduated she got accepted into a position at Hogwarts and could not help but want to be close to her so when he found out The Three Broomsticks was for sale he stepped in to buy it. 

So now he could always be close to her if she needed him.   Of course his parents didn’t like the idea of what he was doing still living across the country, but he told them it was his life and that it would be fine.  It was always a good thing his parents trusted him to do the right thing.
